MMIW Red Qaspeq earrings.

Inspiration was drawn from the red dress earrings, to bring awareness closer to us as Alaska Natives, a red qaspeq is the main focus of the earrings. I thought incorporating our traditional

clothing, the qaspeq and piluguuks would be more representative of our missing people.

A red hand is placed over the mouth as the widely known symbolic representation of violence that affects

our indigenous women.
